English comedian Russell Brand will host the event while Britney Spears will be opening up the night with a surprise performance. Kaba Modern and Fanny Pak of America’s Best Dance Crew will battle it out to determine who will present the Best Dancing in a Video award.

Disney star Demi Lovato heads to a photoshoot for Entertainment Weekly magazine outside the Economy Candy store on the Lower East Side in New York City on Wednesday.
Demi, 16, has been touring with the Jonas Brothers this summer and recently shared about a fall she took during a show! “I fell at a show this one time,” she laughed. “Actually, I’ve fallen several times — like, four times already. But this one time I fell, it was the only one that made Perez Hilton and YouTube. I didn’t think anything of it when it happened. I just laughed it off onstage. But the next day, I see that it hit the Internet, and I was like, ‘Nooooooo.’ It totally stung, because I wasn’t expecting it. But I didn’t get hurt, and Joe [Jonas] helped me out a lot with that. He made a ton of jokes about it!”
The 16-year-old Disney sensation was accompanied by costars David DeLuise, Jennifer Stone, Jake T. Austin and David Henrie.
Selena recently shot down rumors that her new song “I’m Sorry” is about her rumored boyfriend Nick Jonas.
She told People, “It’s definitely not about Nick Jonas. It’s about someone back home in Texas. When I read it, I was like, ‘Oh no this gossip has to go away!’ I haven’t known the Jonas Brothers for that long, but I’ve gotten really close with all of them.”
Ms. Gomez also shared about her fave TV show, Gossip Girl: “I absolutely love it. I think the whole cast knows that I like their show. They all looked as a group and waved and smiled at me [at last month’s Teen Choice Awards]. I almost had a heart attack!”
Nick Jonas and his bodyguard Big Rob leave the Jonas home and head to a studio in Burbank, Calif. on Wednesday.In order to mix things up a bit, the 15-year-old rocker is contemplating about writing songs under an alias!
“Maybe one day I’d write a song and somebody would sing it and then no one would really know that I wrote it,” he said. “It would be kind of exciting, and I had heard that Prince did that, and it was just kind of a goal for me.”
